Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) – BS 7671 Compliant

At Solus electrical, we provide fully certified Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) for domestic, commercial, and rental properties in accordance with the BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition).

An EICR is a formal inspection of the fixed wiring and electrical systems within a property, designed to identify any defects, deterioration, or non-compliances that could pose safety risks.

⚡ What is an EICR?

An EICR assesses the safety and condition of an electrical installation. It involves:

  • Visual inspections of electrical systems
  • Dead and live electrical testing
  • Identification of damage, wear, or outdated components
  • Evaluation of compliance with current regulations (BS 7671)

At the end of the inspection, a detailed report is issued, highlighting:

  • Any ‘C1’ (danger present), ‘C2’ (potentially dangerous), or ‘C3’ (improvement recommended) observations
  • Whether the installation is Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory
  • Remedial actions required to bring the installation up to standard

We offer domestic EICRs for:

  • Homeowners looking to assess safety and compliance
